SONOMA 1998 - 2003 2.2L - Volant Cold Air Intake

The GMC Sonoma 2.2L is a tight, well-built stock engine. But its still just a stock engine and has a potential for more horsepower. Buying a Volant kit will increase the air charge and in effect increase the horsepower. Also sustaining a cooler air charge from the outside air increases the density of the air which gives the engine more oxygen in more dense air - and more oxygen means a more efficient burn, longer engine life, and better gas mileage.
Volant's PRO-5 Filter reduces air restriction and increases engine output by using precision pleat geometry that optimizes airflow throughout the intake system. The PRO-5 gets its name from its 5 protective layers, 4 cotton and 1 synthetic, It comes pre-oiled and can last for up to 150,000 miles if properly maintained.
