Volant’s newest air intake for the 2008 – present Volkswagen GTI, offers a unique design that blocks out engine heat to provide cold air for better power and fuel economy. Volant’s air filter box grabs air from both the front of the engine, as well as the inner fender, to create an additional volume of cold ambient air. The box's sealed design prevents contamination from engine heat to provide a cooler air-intake charge to make more power from your 2.5L turbocharged engine.

The GTI intake #411520 also incorporates Volant’s exclusive PowerCore air filter to provide superior filtration, airflow and performance. Unlike other air filters, the PowerCore utilizes a nano-fiber, fluted design that never needs oiling and is 99.99 percent efficient. In addition, the filter lasts 100,000 miles before it ever needs to be replaced.

Volant’s new air intake for the VW GTI is unlike any other in the market. Made from X-link polyethylene plastic, the intake tubes and filter box offer improved air velocity from smooth bends and a tapered design that can’t be achieved with metal intake tubes. In addition, high-grade silicone sleeves and stainless steel clamps are used to ensure a secure fit and eliminate distortion from long-term exposure to engine heat.
